Autodesk Subscription Software Downloads

In response to customer demand, Autodesk Subscription customers can now download their software upgrades rather than having to wait for a box to be shipped. 

New Upgrade Delivery Policy
Starting in 2010, software download will become the default method for delivering software upgrades to Subscription customers in 37 participating countries including Hong Kong. Subscription customers in these countries will no longer receive boxed shipments unless specifically requested; instead, they will receive an email notification that their upgrade is available to download.

If you prefer a CD/DVD, the Software Coordinator can set the delivery preference to “box”. Sign in to Subscription Center, go to My Profile, and set your delivery preference now.

Please note: any changes you make will not be applied to upgrade orders that have already been fulfilled or upgrade orders that are scheduled to be processed within the next seven business days

In addition to giving you immediate access to new software features, software download provides the following benefits:

• Convenience—It’s more convenient than installing software from a DVD or CD and is available 24 hours a day.
• Sustainability—Because there’s no printing, packaging, or shipping, it’s a more sustainable choice.
• Central control—Software Coordinators can provide users with electronic access to upgrades and manage software permissions centrally.
